AK-47 fired in Goldsboro

An assault weapon was fired into two residences in Courtyard Circle apartments Thursday afternoon, but police have no witnesses willing to talk, Sgt. Chad Calloway said. No one was injured. One man was arrested on an existing warrant, but police could not connect him to the crime without a weapon or witnesses, Calloway said. Two apartments suffered damage to windows during the assault weapon attack.
