Teen charged
A juvenile faces charges for breaking into Eastern Wayne High School on Monday night, Goldsboro police said. A window had been broken out of a trailer behind the gym, but the suspect ran and police could not track him down, according to a news release. Authorities said the juvenile is charged with breaking and entering, resisting, delaying or obstructing a police officer and possession of marijuana.
Drug charges
The Wayne County-Goldsboro Drug Squad arrested two people after a search warrant was served on Red Hill Road in the Eureka area, according to a Sheriff's Office news release. Dwayne Ray Speight, Red Hill Road, Eureka was charged with possessing cocaine and marijuana with the intent to sell or deliver and maintaining a residence for a controlled drug. Kenneth Bundy of Lindell Road, Stantonsburg, was charged with possession of cocaine, according to the release.
Death probed
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of John Rogers, 73, who was found dead at his home on Rose Landing Place, according to a report.
Thefts
*Linwood Earl Lee of Lockhaven Drive told Goldsboro police Tuesday that a 1992 Mercury Sable worth $1,500 was stolen from a parking lot in the 400 block of East New Hope Road.
*Joyce Garris of Nahunta Road, Pikeville reported a break-in to her home on Monday in which $451 in property was stolen, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office reported.

*Teresa Renee Rice, 36, Fairview Circle, drive while impaired, $750 bond.
*Talmadge Allen Hollomon, 29, Nor-Am Road, possess drug paraphernalia, transport open container of alcohol, $2,500 bond.
*Tavaris Lee Kelly, 26, South Maple Street, Mount Olive, second-degree trespass, resist, delay or obstruct a police officer, $2,500 bond.
*Calvin Jones, 25, South Andrew Street, possess marijuana, resist, delay or obstruct a police officer, $3,000 bond.
*Ervin C. Toomer, 54, North Virginia Street, two counts assault on female, communicating threats, $6,000 bond.
*Yolanda Thompson, 33, Superior Lane, fail to stop at scene of accident, fail to report accident, no operator's license, $6,000 bond.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Department reported these charges:
*Walter V. Cogdell, 45, South Slocumb Street, failure to pay child support, $1,000 cash purge.
*Steven Mark Farmer, 16, East Dickerson Street, Fremont, failure to appear, $1,500 bond.
*Svinte Leconya Wallace, 30, Fox Drive, Dudley, assault on a female, $1,000 bond.
*Shannon Nicole Stroud, 25, Fox Drive, Dudley, assault with a deadly weapon, $1,000 bond.
*Robert Kevin Lamm, 28, Pony Drive NW, Pikeville, threatening phone call, $500 bond.
*Kathryn Lee Davis, 32, Haley Drive, communicating threats, cyberstalking, written promise to appear.
*Jerry Linwood Hines, 52, Eagle's Nest Road, Dudley, illegal burning, $500 bond.
*Ransome James Howell Jr., 52, Tina Avenue, Pikeville, two counts passing worthless checks, $1,000 bond.
*Daila Espuet Jones, Orlando, Fla., communicating threats, written promise to appear.
*Shonda Lasalle Peguese, 24, South Breazeale Avenue, failure to appear, communicating threats, fail to return rental property, $1,500 bond.
*Cornelius Wayne Smith, 23, Louisville Road, misdemeanor larceny, $1,000 bond.
