Juvenile charged
in break-in
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office reports a 15-year-old Belfast juvenile is allegedly reponsible for a break-in on Creekwood Drive. Juan Roblero had reported $140 stolen from his residence, authorities said. Charges against the youth included breaking and entering, larceny and possession of stolen goods, authorities said.
Home damaged
in copper theft
Wayne Wright of Century 21 reported that a home in the 400 block of North Virginia Street sustained major damages after a break-in in which copper was stolen. Four interior walls suffered $4,000 in damage after unknown suspects knocked out sheetrock to steal about 15 pounds of copper worth $700, police said. An interior door frame also sustained $500 in damages, police said.
