Suspicious fire
An early Sunday morning motor vehicle fire at Josh Lane and Kingdom Lane that caused $3,500 in damages has been ruled suspicious, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said. A 1990 Cadillac Deville owned by Joshua Eugene Newsome was involved, according to reports.
Vehicle fired into
Shawnese Blue of Pinewinds Drive, Raleigh reported her car was shot in a parking lot in the 500 block of N.C. 55 near Mount Olive, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.
