Representatives of Wayne School of Engineering and Wayne Early Middle College will describe their programs to parents on Wednesday night at 6 at Dillard Middle School.
The School of Engineering is located at Goldsboro High School, opened last year under the direction of Principal Gary Hales. About 100 students were accepted into the program that focuses on science, technology, math and engineering.
The Early Middle College opened at Wayne Community College in 2006. Under the early college concept, ninth-graders can complete the state's high school graduation requirements and have the opportunity to complete a two-year associate's degree or the college transfer program, allowing them to continue as a junior at a four-year university.
