Neuseway Park event in Kinston on Sunday

KINSTON -- Neuseway Nature Park in Kinston will sponsor "Love the Neuse Day" on Sunday, Feb. 17, from 2:30-5 pm. Events will begin at 2:30 with a short film on the Neuse River in the planetarium.
At 3, all ages are invited to participate in a "Riverbank Clean-Up" contest with prizes awarded to winners in different age categories. At 4, Lower Neuse Riverkeeper Larry Baldwin will give a presentation on the Neuse River. Literature from the Neuse River Foundation will be handed out throughout the day starting at 1 p.m. Attendees are asked to register by email at jparamore@lenoir.k12.nc.us or by calling (252-939-3302).
