Financial aid workshop at Wayne Community College

Free assistance for students desiring financial aid at Wayne Community College will be available through a workshop on Saturday, Feb. 9, in the Spruce Building from 9 a.m. until noon.
Students planning to attend college in the 2008-08 academic year and their families are invited to the workshop, where financial aid professionals will assist with completing and submitting forms for federal and state financial aid.
Information on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (or FAFSA) program and pre-application worksheets are available through www.CFNS.org/fafsaday, or by contacting the College Foundation of North Carolina toll-free at 866-866-2362. The Web site also provides listings of scholarships, grants and loan opportunities.
A PIN number should be established before the workshop, and may be obtained from www.pin.ed.gov.
