Mental Health Association speaker to talk on bullying

The Mental Health Association of Wayne County will host its annual dinner meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the SJAFB Officers Club.
The guest speaker will be William Lassiter, manager of the Center for the Prevention of School Violence for the North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. He will be presenting on the topic of "Bully Free" awareness campaign. Lassister, a nationally recognized authority, was interviewed by several TV news shows following the Virginia Tech shootings, including CNN and MSNBC.
Educators and others interested in the subject are urged to attend. The cost is $30 and includes a buffet meal
