Break-in charge
Goldsboro police investigators have charged a man in connection with two break-ins at a Park Avenue home. Police said Toby Steven Blankenship, 29, of East Beech Street faces two counts each of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking or entering, possession of stolen goods and obtaining property by false pretenses and was jailed under $65,000 bond.
About $400 in property was recovered.
Copper theft
Ross Zacharzick of Precision Plumbing on Fedelon Trail reported that 300 feet of copper piping worth $2,500 was stolen over the weekend, Goldsboro police said.
