Investigations
The Goldsboro Police Department reported these investigations:
*Officials with Toyota of Goldsboro on N. Oak Forest Road reported the theft of a 2007 Dodge Caravan valued at $19,000.
*Patrick Chen of U.S. 70 West reported a break-in to a commercial storage building at 800 N. James St., Goldsboro. Missing items included $600 worth of copper wire and an air conditioner coil valued at $250.
*Someone did $2,000 worth of damage to the glass panels at Quality Plumbing and Heating at 1013 N. William St. The building had last been secured Saturday afternoon, and the damage was reported Monday morning.
*Jeffrey Stout of Union Grove Church Road, Fremont, reported a break-in at a house he owns on North Carolina Street. It was last secured Jan. 11. Missing items included copper wiring and copper tubing, aluminum down spouts and a radio, all valued at $345. The door lock was broken to gain entry.
*A break-in was reported at a house owned by Jean Hoke on South Berkeley Boulevard. Items missing included a laptop computer, a digital camera and a DVD player, all valued at $1,000.
*Thieves broke into the home of Antoinette Johnson Hines on Diana Street. Entry was gained through a window. Jewelry valued at $1,100 was reported missing.
