Assault with

a vehicle

Jamethon Howard of Wayne Avenue reported that a woman he knows approached his car from behind on South Slocumb Street in a green vehicle, Goldsboro police said. The woman intentionally used her vehicle to push his car off the left side of the road, Howard said, causing it to strike a fence on South Berkeley Boulevard and causing $300 in damage, police said. Howard said shots were fired during the incident, but none hit his vehicle, police said. Howard declined to press charges.

Home shot into

Marry Johnston of West Mulberry Street reported Saturday afternoon that she found a hole in her window, Goldsboro police said. A bullet was found in a wall decoration across from the window, police said. Damages were estimated at $400.

Drug arrest

Goldsboro police said a Dudley man was arrested on a drug charge in the 300 block of Wilmington Avenue after an investigation. Rondray Gooding, 28, Summit Drive, was jailed under $7,500 bond for possession of marijuana and resisting, delaying or obstructing police business, according to a news release.

Thefts reported

*Michael King of Arnold-Wilbert Corp. on West Grantham Street reported a 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck worth $5,000 stolen Sunday. The truck is white and has lettering reading "Wilbert Burial Vault" on the side, Goldsboro police said.

*Teresa Hill of South Church Street, Mount Olive reported her Ford Explorer was parked in the 200 block of Hack Drive, Dudley, when various valuable parts were removed from it, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said. Rims and tires, a radio, the vehicle's battery and five internal engine belts worth $1,000 were stripped from the vehicle, authorities said, and $1,000 in damage to the vehicle paint was recorded.
