*Christopher Devon Jackson of Vanderbilt Circle reported that he was on the 100 block of Vanderbilt Circle when an unknown person pointed a shotgun at him and demanded that he give the person his Apple laptop, police said. Jackson gave the person the laptop and then reported that the person walked away toward Dupont Circle.
*Donnie Ray Grant of East Beech Street reported someone broke into his home, tied him up and stole coins, a 12-gauge shotgun and a 2007 silver Ford Explorer, all valued at $27,910, police said. Police recovered the vehicle shortly after.
