Kurt Russell, a delivery driver with New Hope Gas Co., delivers propane fuel this morning. On average a driver would deliver about 2,000 gallons of fuel per day on a residential route, but with the temperatures dropping below freezing, that has increased to about 4,200 gallons per day and 6,500 gallons on commercial routes.
