Shooting
*Jamethon Howard told Goldsboro police Saturday that as he was starting his vehicle on Wayne Avenue, a white Cadillac drove by and someone inside it fired two rounds into the vehicle with a handgun, damaging the right rear quarter of the vehicle. Goldsboro police officers said that the victim signed a non-prosecution form.
Thefts
*Arelio Matias of Central Heights Road reported his home broken into early Tuesday morning and $960 in valuables stolen, including a Sony PlayStation game system, two Apple Ipods and 15 DVDs, police said. He also reported a white Ford truck that he used for his work, valued at $25,000, stolen, police said.
*Chris Greene of Kelly Sales and Leasing on West Grantham Street reported someone broke into the business by throwing a brick through the front door glass and stealing a 42-inch LCD TV, valued at $2,198.87, and a brown figurine, valued at $24.38. The damage to the business' door is valued at $300, police said.
*James George of Isler Street reported Monday that someone broke into his crawl space and stole 60 feet of copper pipes valued at $400, police said.
Dumpster fire
*A resident of Edgerton Street reported three juveniles setting fire to two trash dumpsters located in the 1700 block of the street on Monday evening, police said. The Goldsboro Fire Department responded to the call and extinguished the blaze.
Bus damaged
*Kaye Mason of Home, Health and Hospice Center on Wayne Memorial Drive reported Monday that someone broke out eight windows of a small school bus that was parked in the parking lot, police said. The windows were valued at $1,000.
