Two Edgerton Street residents have been arrested and two more Wayne County men are still at large and wanted in connection with several armed robberies that have occurred in Goldsboro over the past seven months.

Tyrone Riley Jr. and Robert Devince Holloman were both charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon for alleged involvement in June 16, Dec. 1 and Dec. 10 robberies.

Riley was also charged with second-degree kidnapping and assault on a female, Goldsboro police officials said.

Authorities allege that June 16, the men entered the Burger King on Berkeley Boulevard and robbed it at gunpoint. One man, Perez Donovan McDuffie, was arrested and charged July 28 with the robbery.

Then, Dec. 1, the Wendy's on Wayne Memorial Drive was robbed and the employees were forced into the freezer. Riley Jr. has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, second-degree kidnapping and assault on a female in connection with the crime.

Walgreen's on Wayne Memorial Drive was robbed Dec. 10 and a customer inside the store was forced to empty the contents of her purse at gunpoint. Riley and Holloman have both been charged in the incident, and a third suspect, Montana Best, has an outstanding warrant for the same offense.

Police say the charges and arrests stem from an ongoing investigation conducted by investigators L.D. Bethea and D. Bevell of the Goldsboro Police Department Investigative Division.

Anyone with information on the robberies, or the location of those being sought, is asked to contact Bethea at 580-4214, Bevell at 580-4218, or might remain anonymous through Crime Stoppers at 735-2255.
