Students from Fremont STARS performed “A Poultry Tale,” during Tuesday night’s Wayne County Choral Showcase. Parents and students filled the auditorium at Dillard Middle School Tuesday night for the first part of the Wayne annual event, which will continue Thursday at 7 p.m., with different schools participating.

On Tuesday night, choral groups from Carver Elementary, Charles B. Aycock High, Fremont STARS, Grantham Elementary and Middle, Northeast and Northwest elementary schools, Norwayne Middle, Southern Wayne High and Spring Creek Elementary, Middle and High schools took part. On Thursday, singers from Carver Heights Elementary, Dillard Middle, Eastern Wayne Elementary, Middle and High schools, Goldsboro High, Goldsboro Intermediate, Greenwood Middle, Meadow Lane Elementary, North Drive Elementary, Rosewood Elementary, Middle and High schools and Tommy’s Road Elementary will perform.
