Armed robbery
A South William Street man reported two men robbed him at his home at gunpoint and forced him inside of his home, police records show. Tim Taylor said two black men approached him outside his home as he prepared for work. One had an assault rifle, the other was armed with a handgun, according to the report. They reportedly stole $800 in cash and a cell phone, police said.
Computer stolen
William Robert Adams of Farmville-based Coastal Beverage Co. told city police a company laptop worth $2,500 was stolen from his company vehicle while parked at his Chafin Road home, authorities said.
Missing
Lesley Nohemi Garcia, 15, of Thunder Swamp Road, Mount Olive has been missing since Nov. 24, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said. She is a student at Southern Wayne High School and was described as 5-feet-5-inches tall, about 120 pounds, with brown eyes and long black hair. She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
