Library plans special programs

The main branch of the Wayne County Public Library on Ash Street will host these holiday programs for children and families.
*On Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. there will be a Trim-a-Tree party at the library, with songs by the Goldsboro Boys and Girls Choir, a holiday story and crafts to decorate the library's tree. There will also be a special appearance from a "Jolly Ole" guest.
*Holiday Films at the library will feature the classic Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 2 p.m., Arthur's Perfect Christmas, which honors all cultural celebrations of the season, on Thursday, Dec. 20 at 2 p.m. and Eloise at Christmastime based on Kay Thompson's classic children's books on Friday, Dec. 21 at 10 a.m.
*On Friday, Dec. 28 at 10 a.m., there will be a time of making Kwanzaa Crafts that recognize and celebrate the seven principles of Kwanzaa.
