*The Mount Olive Police Department is seeking the public's help in solving two break-ins at Best Used Cars on Park Avenue, authorities say. Eight sets of after-market wheel rims and two vehicles were stolen in the first incident, police said. In the second, a car with after-market rims and tires was stolen, police said. *Donald Eugene Atkinson of Oriole Drive, Dudley reported a gun and a box of ammunition stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence on Heather Glen Drive on Saturday, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.
*Aldine Shelton Moore of Indian Springs Road, Seven Springs reported a black 1993 GMC Sonoma pickup worth $1,200 stolen from C&T Country Store, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.
*Jose Gomez of Hamlet Circle, Seven Springs reported three junked vehicles worth a total of $3,000 stolen from a soccer field on Camp Jubilee Road, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.
*Leslie Vargo of Robin Lake Drive, Dudley reported a black Chevy truck worth $5,000 stolen from the 2100 block of Salem Church Road at 2:25 p.m. on Sunday, city police said.
