Robbery

Rudolph Jennings, 57, of Poplar Street reported that two black males ran up behind him on South Leslie Street, attacking him and robbing him, Goldsboro police say. Jennings reported he was struck in the head by hands and forced to the ground, police said. The suspects took his wallet, which contained no money, and damaged his clothing in the incident, police said. One male is described as in his 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches with a medium build and wearing a black jacket and blue pants. The other male was described as about 5 feet 9 inches tall and was wearing a camouflage jacket and blue jeans, police said.

Dogs stolen

Kelly Stancil of Pineview Cemetery Road, Seven Springs reported that 11 dogs were stolen from her home on Sunday, the Wayne County Sheriff's Department reported. The dogs are worth an estimated $1,500, authorities said.
