Michael Trent, left, 7, and Joshua Gatlin, 6, and more than 50 other Meadow Lane Elementary School students set up an assembly line this morning and made about 100 bag lunches that will be donated to the Community Soup Kitchen. The school's multi-age classes made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and a fruit snack, which they placed in hand decorated bags for delivery to the soup kitchen. As part of the service project, students also decorated placemats and are collecting canned goods for the soup kitchen.
