*A Dudley man was charged in connection with a break-in at R.N. Rouse & Co. after an investigation, Goldsboro police investigator Dave Cloutier said. William Earl Arthur, 38, Denning Road, Dudley, was charged with breaking and entering, larceny, possessing stolen goods, larceny of a motor vehicle and jailed in lieu of $30,000 bond.

*A homeless man found Sunday afternoon in Kemp Recyclers on South George Street was charged with breaking and entering, Goldsboro police said. Jimmie Lee Brinson, 45, was charged with felony breaking and entering and served with an outstanding warrant for shoplifting, police said.

*Two area men were charged with vehicle theft after an investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office. Charles Anthony Marlowe, 20, Aycock Dairy Farm Road, Fremont, and Christopher Dale Mooring, 20, Bayleaf Drive, were both charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, breaking and entering a motor vehicle and larceny from a motor vehicle, and jailed in lieu of $10,000 bond, authorities said.

Drug charge

A Mount Olive man had nearly $3,000 worth of crack cocaine and a small amount of marijuana when a search warrant was served on his Oliver Street home, authorities say. Terry Mondell White was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine, possession of marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of keeping and selling drugs, police said.

Thefts reported

*Germain Maldonado of Arrington Bridge Road reported stolen from his residence a black 2003 Mazda 6 worth $13,000, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.

*Ruth Grondin Rohde of Clingman Street reported stolen from her residence a blue 1994 two-door Pontiac Sunbird worth an estimated $1,300.
