Candidate forum Thursday

Officials with the Wayne County League of Women voters are reminding candidates for all local offices and the public of the organization's candidates forum Thursday at Herman Park Center.
The forum will begin at 6:30 p.m. with candidates for sanitary district boards. Candidates for the Goldsboro City Council will be next, followed by those for offices in Seven Springs, Walnut Creek and Fremont.
All candidates are asked to arrive early and register with league officials.
The forum is scheduled to last until 9 p.m., with any time remaining after candidates speak reserved for written questions.
Election Day is Nov. 6.
