The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary is again sponsoring its "Stuff a Stocking" project to provide Christmas cheer to needy children.
Volunteers are urged to pick up mesh stockings at the Salvation Army building at 610 N. William St. and fill them with goodies, especially for boys and girls ages 9-12, for delivery by the auxiliary.
Stockings can be picked up starting Wednesday. They need to be returned by Dec. 5.
Army officials said they welcome the donation of any and all new toys.
