Razor attack

A Dorsey Street woman reported that a woman she knows cut her with a razor on the lower left leg after awaking her by punching her in the face, police said. Lakeisha Edwards said she was staying at the home of a friend on Edgerton Street, police said.

Knife attack

A Piedmont Place woman said her boyfriend cut her on the back of the neck with a knife after drinking several beers on Friday night, police said. Samuel Exun Jr., 47, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $500.

Shoplifting

charges

Two Goldsboro area residents were charged with shoplifting after police apprehended them with a large purse full of goods inside Family Dollar in the 2000 block of East Ash Street, police said. A clerk called police on Friday when she saw Jimmy Brinson, 45, Sleepy Creek Drive, passing goods to Asherion Shamaine Atkinson, 18, to put in her purse, police said.

Vehicles stolen

Four vehicles were reported stolen from open land on Ruskin Road belonging to Elmon Simmons of Dudley, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said. A 1998 white Ford van, a 1991 Chevrolet Astro, a scrapped 1977 Chevrolet pickup and 1983 Chevrolet pickup worth $3,000 total were stolen, police said.
