Scholarship established

A scholarship has been established to honor the memory of Loree M. Durham, who passed away December 25, 2006.
Mrs. Durham, a resident of the Elroy Community, was a retired educator with the Wayne County Public Schools.
The annual scholarship is designated for a graduate of Eastern Wayne High School or Goldsboro High School who attends Fayetteville State University.
Contributions to the scholarship fund should be made payable to the Loree M. Durham Scholarship and mailed to: Mel O. Battle, P.O. Box 467, Yanceyville, N.C. 27379.
