Chamber is now taking mini-grant applications

Educational mini-grants up to $500 are available for area teachers through the Wayne Charitable Partnership of the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce Education Committee.
This will be the only time the mini-grants will be offered for the 2007-08 school year. Teachers in public schools, private schools or home schools are eligible.
Grant applications, available online at the school district's Web site, www.waynecountypublicschools.org, or from the chamber's, www.waynecountychamber.com, must be turned in to the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce office by Monday, Oct. 1.
Maximum amount for each mini-grant is $500.
