State Fair entry deadline Monday

RALEIGH -- Monday is the deadline for submitting many entries to the North Carolina State Fair.
More than $605,000 in premium money will be distributed to winners.
The fair offers competion in 41 departments featuring thousands of categories, including agronomy, foraged, flowers and garden, horticulture, arts and photography, bees and honey, poultry, rabbits, 4-H, culinary, clothing, home furnishings, handicrafts and hobbies and amateur and commercial wine. Certain categories are restricted to 4-H and FFA members.
