Investigations
The Goldsboro Police Department is investigating these reports:
*Mick Worrells Jr. of South Slocumb Street said two men he does not know assaulted him Sunday around 10 p.m. at a Herman Street residence and broke his jaw. Both men were described as in their 20s, black and around 5-feet 7-inches tall.
*Thieves reportedly did $1,000 worth of damage to a drink machine after breaking into Coastal Lumber, 700 W. Elm St. Sunday night. An unknown amount of money was taken from the machine owned by the Pepsi Company, 2807 Northpark Drive.
