Assaults

*Jennifer Turner reported two men started an argument at M&M Bar in Goldsboro with Kenneth Farr, 21, of Emmaus Church Road, Mount Olive, and Nathaniel Britt, 20, of Kinsley Street, LaGrange at about 9:19 p.m. Saturday. The men were asked to leave, and complied. They returned and struck Britt in the mouth with a pool stick and Farr in the left temple area with the same item. Both were taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

*Stephen Alan Davis, 32, an U.S. Air Force airman, reported he awoke in apartment at 702 N. Spence Ave., and found a man he knew standing over him with a gun. Davis told Goldsboro police the suspect entered through the front door, which was unlocked. The suspect forced Davis out of the apartment and told him if they had any problems, he would "settle" it.

*Michael Jonas Ulmer, 45, of Slaughter Street, reported a woman he knew cut him with a knife during an argument at about 1:15 a.m. Saturday. Ulmer was taken to Wayne Memorial for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Thefts

*Someone stole four New York strip steaks, four ribeye steaks and 12 packs of bacon, all valued at $167, from Save-A-Lot, 211 N. Berkeley Blvd.

*Alejandra B. Perez reported someone broke into his home in the 100 block of Whispering Lane, Dudley, and stole three TVs, a DVD player and $1,770 cash.

*Someone stole four 20-inch rims and tires, valued at $3,000, from Deacon Jones Kia, 2077 U.S. 70 West.

*Someone stole $263 from the cash drawer at Subway, 2339 B. U.S. Hwy. 117 South.

*Someone broke into Grants Free Will Baptist Church, 3679 N.C. 55 East, Mount Olive, and stole a ceramic vase and four packs of Welch's grape juice, all valued at $51. Damage to the window was set at $300.

Accidents

*Lisa-Marie H. Brown, 26, of Pikeville, was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Ash Street near Alabama Street at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday when she allegedly fell asleep at the wheel of her 2006 Kia van. Ms. Brown ran off the right shoulder, struck a bridge rail end and rolled down an embankment. Ms. Brown was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment on non-life threatening injuries.
