Wanted
Christopher Dale Mooring is wanted by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office on two felony counts of breaking and entering and larceny and possession of stolen goods. He also is wanted for failing to appear in court in Carteret County.
He is described as a white man, 21 years old, 5-feet-9 and 180 pounds with dark brown hair and blue eyes.
He has been seen on Ivey Road in Pikeville and Hillsdale Drive in Fremont as well as at the Wal-Mart store in Goldsboro.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Detective Sgt. Carl Lancaster at 731-1480 or Crime Stoppers at 735-2255.
Investigations
Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:
*Jenna Faircloth of Topsail Beach reported the theft of several items from her unsecured vehicle Friday morning while parked at a business on Norwood Avenue. Among items taken were a Sirius radio, cell phone, charger adapter, radar detector cord and wallet containing credit cards and identification. Estimated value was $1,156.
*Mailboxes at several homes on the 300 block of West New Hope Road were reportedly damaged over-night Friday. Resident Leatha Lawrence filed the report, and police left notes with other victims with instructions to contact police.
