Foster homes sought

CLINTON -- Boys and Girls Homes of NC is holding an open house Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church at 800 Smith St. in Clinton.
People interested in opening their home to children who have either temporarily or permanently left their birth parents' homes because of abuse or neglect are urged to attend to discover how they can help.
To be accepted as a host family, people must complete a training program that will start Aug. 2.
