Goat/sheep 'roundup' August 17-18 in Sanford

SANFORD -- The state Cooperative Extension Service reminds goat and sheep producers of an Aug. 17-18 educational "roundup" at the fairgrounds in Sanford.
Producers will be given an opportunity to learn more about the latest issues related to the dairy and meat goat and sheep production. A number of well-known experts from around the country will be present.
The pre-registration deadline for the event is Aug. 1. The pre-registration cost is $75 for the first family member and $50 for each additional member for both days. Youth registration fees are $10 per child for the Saturday program. Registration after Aug. 1 is $85 per person.
