Airman dies in accident

A member of the 4th Fighter Wing's Equipment Maintenance Squadron was killed last week in an accident in Illinois.
Airman 1st Class Christopher Hardiek, 19, was home on leave when the incident occurred, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base officials said.
The wreck happened early Tuesday.
Illinois state police said the other driver, Justin DeJaynes, 22, was cited for driving under the influence and improper lane usage.
A memorial service for Hardiek will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the base chapel.
