On his last day as president of Wayne Community College, Dr. Ed Wilson, right, said he planned to walk around the campus and hug people. One of his stops this morning was to the office of his successor, Dr. Kay Albertson, who steps into the position from the role of vice president for academic affairs. Wilson retires today after having served as president of the college since 1992. There is no formal party planned for Wilson's last day, since friends and colleagues have been honoring him since his announcement of his retirement plans, but sources from the college have said there will be "lots of tears."
