Library summer film schedule

The Wayne County Public Library's Summer Reading Festival for children 10 and older began Tuesday at the main branch on Ash Street.
The Summer Reading Festival movies will show every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. through Aug. 14, with the exception of July 17.
Library officials say many of the films are independent. Some were made by teens and younger children. Most are short. On some nights, multiple films will be shown, and other nights are set aside for full-a length feature film.
Here is the tentative schedule:
*June 26 -- Eight short films.
*July 3 -- The feature film "Road to Opportunity."
*July 10 -- Four short films.
*July 17 -- No films.
*July 24 -- Nine short films.
*July 31 -- Feature film to be announced.
*Aug. 7 -- Short film.
*Aug. 14 -- Short films.
