Chamber seminar Tuesday on improving business profitability

The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce will hold a seminar Tuesday focusing on the ways a local business can improve its profitability.
The seminar, titled "Seven Quality Tools to Improve Your Organization's Bottom Line," will be held from noon until 1 p.m. at the Chamber building at 308 N. William St.
The focus of the seminar is to teach local business owners about several straightforward tools that can be used to effectively improve the quality of a company's product, which will then improve its profits. The business tools discussed are applicable for goods-producing and service industries.
The seminar will be facilitated by Dr. Norman Crumpacker, who is lead instructor of operations management at Wayne Community College.
Registration is $10 for chamber members and $15 for non-members. A light lunch will be provided byHam's restaurant.
