Jaycees banquet Monday

The Goldsboro Jaycees will hold their annual Distinguished Service Awards banquet Monday night at First Baptist Church in Goldsboro.
The awards banquet, which begins at 6:30 p.m., honors local residents who have volunteered their services to the community. The awards this year include Educator of the Year, Farmer of the Year, Teenager of the Year, Employer of the Year and Senior Citizen of the Year and the Distinguished Service Award.
The event is sponsored by Academics Plus Inc., Wayne Oil Co., Pittman Management Group, Jersey Mike's Subs, Wayne Veterinary Hospital, Daniels Custom Home Designs Inc. and Pittard, Perry and Crone Inc.
