More than 300 people participated in the 11th Annual Hal Plonk Disability Awareness Walk sponsored by the Mayor’s Committee for Persons with Disabilities. The five-block walk through downtown Goldsboro is named for the late Mayor Hal Plonk. The event featured the Dillard Middle School Band and refreshments and prizes for children.
