Two public hearings will headline a short docket Monday, as Goldsboro City Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. in the second-floor conference room at City Hall.
The first, a zoning request from Robert Howell, involves property located on the south side of U.S. 70, between O'Berry Center and Martin roads. Howell is expected to ask the council to rezone the parcel from residential and general business to general business.
The second involves a conditional land use request from Felix Gurley, the owner of property along the north side of Royall Avenue, between Clingman and Evans streets.
Only one item requiring individual action appears on the agenda, a noncontiguous annexation petition from Edmundson Enterprise for property located on the southwest corner of N.C. 581 and Rosewood Road.
At the end of their meeting, as is their policy, council members will open the floor to residents who wish to share questions or concerns.
Those who wish to attend Monday's meeting are asked to silence or turn off all cell phones and pagers.
