North Carolina Pickle Treasure Hunt 2007 is under way.
A jar of Mt. Olive Pickles has been hidden in Mount Olive. In the coming weeks, clues like these will be printed that will lead someone to the location of the pickles.
* Karen, get those dishes washed so you can take Elizabeth to see the petting zoo and go on a pony ride.
* The D.J. won't play his records but rather his CDs at the appreciation reception at the country club.
* Stand up and salute the American Flag as you listen to C.C. Ryder at the festival.
The pickles will be labeled, "You are a winner in the N.C. Pickle Festival Treasure Hunt." The winner should bring the winning jar to the Mt. Olive Area Chamber of Commerce and receive a pickle pack donated by the Mt. Olive Pickle Co.
