Habitat for Humanity of Goldsboro and Wayne County will have an informational meeting at 6 p.m. today in the WAGES building on Royall Avenue.

Habitat has closed on several Harris Street properties and will be pouring foundation to begin construction toward the end of the week. Including these lots and two transferred from the city of Goldsboro, Habitat will have a total of 14 lots in the city of Goldsboro plus the two that were donated by the town of Mount Olive.

Habitat is searching for families interested in helping build a home of their own. Habitat officials say there is no long waiting list, and anybody interested is invited to attend tonight's meeting.

For information call Sherry Archibald, development and communications coordinator, at 736-9592.
