City flushing under way

The City of Goldsboro General Services Department is now in Phase II and Phase III flushing in the following areas from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. daily, except Friday and Saturday.
Holly Street, Bain Street, Waters Street, W. Grantham Street, S. Georgia Ave., Marshall Street, Murray Street, Seaboard Street, Florida Street, S. George Street, S. William Street, Higgins Street, Cobb Street, Fussell Street, Pearson Street, Greenleaf Street, Stronach Ave., Royall Ave., First Street, Second Street, Third Street, Clingman Street;
Dewey Street, N. Carolina Street, Cross Street, Marion Street, Richard Street, Shaw Court, John Court, Neil Street, Cross Street, Victor Place, Frank Street, Woodrow Street, Wilson Street, Eleventh Street, Olive Street, Mercer Street, Level Street, N. Virginia Street;

Residents may experience some discolored water during this process. If discolored water is experienced, residents should run their cold water for a short period to clear any discolored water that may be in their plumbing. If this does not resolve the problem, contact the General Services Department at 734-8674.
