From left, Vikki Mercer, Marsha Prince, Jan Pennington and Glenda Overman, employees at Wayne Women’s Clinic, prepare bread to raise money for their team’s Relay for Life campaign. The team is one of many across the county who are setting their sights on beating the county’s more than $650,000 contribution to the fight against cancer last year. The Wayne Women’s Clinic team has made more than 700 loaves of bread and has raised more than $3,500. They hope to be closer to $5,000 when they finish.
