Wayne County sheriff's deputies are investigating these reports:
*Valerie Macklin reported Monday that someone broke into her home in the 100 block of Atlanta Drive, Dudley, and stole an X-Box, Sony PlayStation, Nintendo, jewelry and other items, all valued at $1,900.
Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:
*Ramona Rosas Lagunez reported Tuesday that someone snatched her purse while she was leaving a pharmacy at 2203 Wayne Memorial Drive. The purse contained $200. No injuries were reported.
*Joseph Richardson Jackson reported Tuesday after an argument a man walked into a restaurant at 4224 U.S. 70 East and beat him with a vehicle twist jack. The suspect left before police arrived. Jackson was treated at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
