Wilson-born composer featured in concert

WILSON -- "Songs of Innocence and Experience," will be the featured work at a spring concert Thursday, March 29 at 7 p.m. at the ProMusic Conservatory at 105 W. Nash Street in downtown Wilson.
Performed by the ProMusic Choristers, the "Songs of Innocence and Experience" is a set of songs for children's choir based on the poetry of William Blake.
The music was composed by Larry Thomas Bell, a native of Wilson and graduate of Fike High School.
"It is a privilege for us to be able to present some of Mr. Bell's music for the first time in his hometown" remarked Gayla Turk, director of the ProMusic Choristers. The choir will be accompanied by Gary Strange.
