This photograph of a television image from WRAL-TV, shows Goldsboro singer Madeline Edwards, 11, performing live on national TV this morning. Madeline won CBS's "The Early Show's" talent competition, "Living Room ... Live! Kids," and earned a chance to perform on the show. The daughter of Michael and Kelli Edwards and a student at Eastern Wayne Middle School, Madeline sang "Chacun le sait," from the opera "The Daughter of the Regiment." Her accompanist was Steve Crawford, the conductor for the Metropolitan Opera. Madeline beat two other performers to earn her trip to New York City. She studies voice with Elaine Baker of Raleigh.
