Investigations

Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:

*Thi Van Le reported someone broke into her home in the 1200 block of Sunset Drive Thursday and stole $1,000 cash, a Rolex, a diamond wedding ring and other jewelry, all valued at $22,100.

*Mario Darrell Moses reported a man approached him while he was in his vehicle in the 700 block of Force Road, doused him with pepper spray and stole his Red Monkey jeans, valued at $450.

Accidents

*Margie Elizabeth Lewis, 68, of Antioch Road, and two passeners in another vehicle were injured Wednesday in an accident in the Berkeley Mall parking lot. The second vehicle was driven by Donald Lynn Lancaster. Ms. Lewis, Lancaster, 36, of Kinston, and his 8-year-old passenger were treated on the scene by Wayne County Emergency Medical Services. Ms. Lewis was cited for an unsafe movement violation. Damage was set at $13,500.

*Annie M. Hill, 75, of Spruce Street, was injured in an accident Wednesday when the driver of the car she was riding in struck a parked car while backing out of a parking space on Spruce Street. Catherine Huston Pitts, 70, of Crawford Street, was cited for failure to see before backing. Damage to Ms. Hill's Kia was set at $800. Damage to the other vehicle was set at $900.
