A Marine Corps V-22 Osprey makes a touch-and-go landing Tuesday at the Mount Olive Airport. Mount Olive Town Manager Charles Brown said several of the planes, considered the new prototype of combat transport and support aircraft for the Marine Corps, have come to the airport on several occasions recently on routine training exercises. The tiltrotor aircraft that can take off and fly like a helicopter or an airplane is fun to watch, he said.
