Daniels and Daniels honored by U.S. Corps of Engineers

Daniels and Daniels Construction Co. of Goldsboro was awarded the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' South Atlantic Division Outstanding Small Military Contractor of the Year for 2006 at a recent ceremony.
Presentation of the award was made Feb. 15 during the Corps of Engineers' annual safety conference held at Hunter Army Air Field in Savannah, Ga.
Corps officials said Daniels and Daniels was chosen for the award based upon its performance during construction of the Reserve Security Forces Squadron Facility at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
The award is presented to the outstanding contractor on projects less than $10 million for Corps of Engineer projects throughout the southeastern United States.
